Well to make a long story short I missed my sporty so much that I bought it back from the guy I sold it to and cancelled my order for that nightrod. I just could not see shelling out $ 20,000 for a new bike when my sporty is like the day I bought her except for my mods. I will take alot of harrassment from all of you but I even was missing all of you guys. I just couldnt go to another forum. I think about all those posts about is a sporty a girls bike , well if it is, then I need a bigger boob job cause I will always ride a sporster and if I really need to change to something else I will still keep mine.

Maybe y'all saw my post a while back that I had picked up an RK but kept the Sporty. Sure glad I did. The bagger is great for packing groceries home, hiding behind the big windshieldin the cold, and all that, but it's not what I would call "fun to ride." Maybe it's just too big and heavy and not "Sporty" enough for my riding. Wife likes the backrest on the RK's tour-pak, one of the reasons I got it after she accused the Sportster of being "too zippy." Sorry Darlin', but I really like "zippy." If ever I reduce the stable to just one bike, that one bike will be the Sportster.
