Why do most guys with Sportsters have a attitude against guys on big twins? I am just wondering.

I don't think this was intended to be a big twin bash, they both have their strengths and weaknesses, just observations from those of us who currently own Sportsters who either have owned or currently own a big twin only to miss our Sportsters afterwards. I personally owned an FXD and an FLHT and missed the fun factor, nimbleness and economy of a Sportster.

No problem's with the BT's at all. I'd love to have one of each.

Part of the problem is that the majority of the time a Sportster / BT debate comes up... it's usually due to an ignorant comment made by a BT rider.
The majority of ALL bikers are great people who respect one another, but there's a few in every bunch...

In singapore, a sporty would make more sense on the road as the traffic conditions are terrible.
Anything outside a sporty will certainly get stuck in a jam along the road, expressway and so on.

Though I'm also a big fan of the RKC, this sportster I'm riding is growing on me so much I'll probably screw the idea of changing it...

Forward controls oh forward controls!

Wow this thread is old.

I think you made a wise decision...

The Sportster is a great bike, especially when you get it set up to your own preferences....

If push came to shove I'd sell either my Dyna or Road King before parting with the 1200C.

I guess shove came before push as OFG doesn't have his Sporty anymore but still has the Dyna and the Road King

I think the V-Rod would have been very uncomfortable.

I'm planning on getting another bike in the Spring (leaning toward a RoadKing, but that changes frequently) I really hope I can keep my little pig...love her around town, and on rides less than 200 miles. Just need something a bit more for my long distance travels.
I've decided that when I'm ready for my Heritage, I will NOT be trading in my Sporty. The Heritage will just have to share garage space with her.

That's what I did. Keep the Sporty. I have always loved them, I've had 4 over the years...but I have to tell ya, I love the Dyna. Hell ...I love em both. Some day I'll add a Ultra to the stable. Its going to be a real hard sell around here. I mean, how to you answer that question, "Why do you have to have three of 'em."

I read the same thing and laughed. But I thought I read somewhere recently that he might be buying it back.

Welcome back, sounds like he was a good friend to agree to sell it back and at the same price. He obviously understood how much the bike meant to you.
