LOL

hyper chargers are worthless...

and someone posted something about hyperchargers looking like superchargers

ive seen lots and lots and lots of superchargers and none of them look like a hypercharger at all.

centrifugal charger units look like turbos and roots type units have a large snout with big belt attached and i've NEVER seen a roots type unit on a bike motor...

not that this has anything to do with anything but i thought id share.

have one on my softail and love it..
that said don't know if it help performance or not and don't really care
it does seem to give it a little more in thehigher revs but as daid don't really care.
for my money it is the best looking ac out there and little to no trouble to install and no tuning problems.
oh if anybody has one they want to get rid of cheap my son want one for his 96 sporty

I've been running one on my Sporty for 7 years. It's a K&N filter in a fancy case. If you like the looks and don't mind the price tell all the haters to go to hell. There isn't really anything wrong with it other than you can get the same performance for a little cheaper without the looks.

If you have a stock ac on your bike the hyper charger will give you a boost in air flow as will many other after market ac's will.If your running a SE or big sucker or any of the many after market ac's you can get then no it wont be any better and depending on the hyper charger you get may not flow as well.As for looks to each his or her own if you like it don't let anyone talk you out of it.I see all kinds of **** that I think looks stupid but thats the great thing about Harley's you can make them your own.I do my best to make my bikes different than anyone else.jmho.....

Don't recall asking whether it was hard to use the search function or not....wasn't thinking of installing the search function on my bike.

But technically, there is.
The hole in the back of the air can not only eliminates any "ram air" effect, but at higher speeds, the airfow in the front and out the back, creates a negative pressure across the throat of the carb/throttle body, which in effect sucks air away from the throat.
