Default Need a little RPM help

Tackless 1200 (lol). Can anyone out there tell me what the approx. reading on the tach is @65 - 70 mph. I have a 06 1200 XL without a tachometer

My Roadster registers 3000 at 60+-,3500 at 67+-. Now I don't know if the gearing is different on yours although this should give you a ball park.

Took a look on the HD web site and this is what I found:

Gear 1200XLC 883XLC 883XLR
1st 9.315 10.792 10.782

2nd 6.653 7.702 7.702

3rd 4.948 5.728 5.728

4th 4.102 4.748 4.748

5th 3.517 4.071 4.071

And I thought my 1200c was wound up at 85 mph. Those 883's with no baffles must make babies cry and women scared when they drive by.
