Here's the progress so far. The new tank was made from an old peanut tank.Y'all requested updates of the build progress-nightster-gas-tank1.jpgY'all requested updates of the build progress-nightster-gas-tank2.jpgY'all requested updates of the build progress-nightster-gas-tank3.jpgY'all requested updates of the build progress-nightster-gas-tank4.jpg

For those of you that are new to the progress of my bike here is what's going on. I was tired of dragging my exhaust in hard right corners. So that combined with my love of cafe's and flat track pushed me towards this. I just told carl a general idea of what I was looking for and gave him the freedom to do it how he wanted. Next we're splitting the tank to bring it closer to the engine for a more aggressive stance and to cover up all the fugly wiring. As well as a cafe/sport bike inspired tail section with a mono shock and the factory HD upgrade performance fork for the XR1200.
