A good example of a "nerdy not-so smart kid". If he were more intelligent; he would have went to college, gotten a better job, and had money for hobbies. He probably has no friends and wants a motorcycle, probably a Vespa. Ha ha.

 

I don't know what this guy is talking about, but, I just got back from a 2 week trip from the French Riviera and the only american luxury vehicles parked next to Ferraris and Bentleys were these!!!

 

I guess he`s glad he is in America where you can say stuff like that. And bye the way - I love my Sporty even if it`s not as fast as some of the rice out there.

 

lol All I got out of that is his love of everything Japan....japan does it better, faster..blah blah blah. My Japanese bike is really an American bike because it was made here in the USA...........OK LOL. A H-D bike is not a real bike because it isn't fast!!!!! IT HAS TO HAVE PERFORMANCE TO BE A REAL BIKE!!!!

No, my Iron is plenty fast for what it is, I bought it to cruise though and sold the crotch rocket because it was time to slow down and enjoy the scenery.

I still have a turbocharged drag car for my go fast needs tho

 

Exactly. I ride a Harley largely because it's slow. I used to ride a GSXR1000R, as well as a slew of other bikes, some faster than others. I choose to ride Harley because of nostalgia. I adore the fact that my motor was designed (in essence) 74 years ago. Anything that's been around that long must have something right. Harleys are about soul, and feeling, and nostalgia, and belonging. If I wanted to go fast (and lose my license... again), I would ride rice. Motorcycling is about individual expression, not about who's fastest.
