I'm from the Ventura area, currently in Afghanistan. Should be back mid Aug.

 

Some guy here was organizing a Sportster run and had some good turnouts. Do a search on the forum for "Sportster Run".

 

I think that it was MOTO MONKEY that you are talking about! He was one of the HDForum members setting up rides in the area. I think that Seal Beach Bum has done a few too! There are a few others that do some too! I am in Redondo Beach, CA. and I ride everyday. I missed one of Moto Monkey's rides over the Father's Day weekend because I went for a 2,505 mile round trip ride out to Santa Rosa, New Mexico on my Sportster to check out the The Horse Back Street Chopper's SmokeOut XI event! TOO COOL!!! I will be going next year too! TOO MUCH FUN!!! I haven't missed a single one of The Horse West coast SmokeOut events! If you go to the Rock Store or to Cook's Corner or to Neptune's Net or to Cold Springs Tavern or to Newcomb's Ranch or to Mother's Kitchen or to the Lookout Roadhouse over on Ortega Highway, you WILL meet some peeps from around the area and many of them will also be members from here on the HDForums as well. If you show up to Cook's Corner or Neptune's Net on any weekend, you will meet tons of HD riders in SoCal. There's no shortage, trust me.

 

i ride everyday. only interested in biker chicks though.
