If you're talking about the star-thingy shaped fastner, it's called a "Torx" bit. Get a set of bits that includes a #27 torx. Sets at Sears do not contain a #27. Don't buy the bullshit cheap sets.
Also, those TS stalks can/will crack. These were torqued to spec and were on my bike for about 9k miles. The cracks go all the way through to the other side of the bolt hole. The ones on the OL's bike are cracked too, but not as bad and they've been on there for 35k miles.
Neither of us use them as hi-way pegs.
