I did a search and didn't see anything about this.
I am having problems getting my choke to stay open. When I first start up the bike for the day, it needs to have the choke open, but it keeps closing itself, I have to hold it open with my hand.
LOL!!!! Yeah, it really is that easy! [sm=laughat.gif]
Well any more suggestions? The friction **** doesn't seem to be doing anything. Which way are you supposed to turn it? Tighten or loosen? Because no matter what I did this morning that damn annoying choke just kept springing back closed.
The friction nut should solve your problem. It is the plastic nut below the **** where the enricher fastens to the bracket. However, be extremely careful as it is plastic. You should be able to turn it clockwise to keep the enricher out.
Sometimes you have to loosen the hex nut on the back of the bracket and then tighten the friction nut until it works correctly and then tighten the hex nut, but be carefull these are only plastic and can break before you know it.
