turn signal relocation kit in black?
anyone know where i might find one of these? ive seen the chrome kit on ebay and other sites, but can't seem to find it in black.

Harley has some them in black, it that's is the kind you are looking for.

yeah i've seen those too, but i've read that they stick out kinda far. maybe not a big deal though. thanks!

They do stick out...but no further than your rear signals.

I heard the same thing when i went to go get them at harley. I asked the parts salesman to give me a set for the bike, and I went put one of the light arms on the bike fork to see how far it would stick out. I like how they look on mine.

Yeah, the stealership they were pretty easy to install. Rear are a different story.

Here's a pic of the HD black kit mounted on the lower triple tree. I like it, kind of adds a little horizontal movement to the bike.

what size bolt did you use to mount the turn signals? just picked mine up and need to run to the hardware store to get bolt that goes through the center and into the signal.

Another thought would be to machine them down shorter...I did this w/my 05 Sporty - cut the bracket down 1/2" so they were closer to the forks...didn't like how far they extended out.

99% sure it was a T45--I think almost all of the Torx bolts around the front end of the Iron are T45s.
Edit: Wait, you're talking about the clamps, right?
