my son just bought a 96 sporty for 3200
bike runs and looks good
needs a front tire and needs to be reg in cal. from oregon engine has been rebuilt and the speedo reset and now only shows 12oo miles so that may present a problem.
guess what I am asking is is this a good year and is the price ok I really don't know sporty's that well even tho I do own a iron head 1000

 

I'd be suspect of the resetting of the speedo.

 

I am /was but the bike is in geat shape so I let that slide

I sold my 94 sporty I chopped to death and still sold it for $3200 The guy was never happier and I took the speedo off two months after I got it, so who knows how many mles were on it. It ran perfect and smoked 90% of any othe sporty on the road.cheers
