They wanted $5988 and I have got them to go down to $5499 so far. From the pic it looks to me like it has frwd controls. What do you think?

 

I don't know what your first offer was but I would have started at 4500 and moved up from there...

If you look around as suggested You can find some sweet rides on Craigslist, your local want ads or EBAY. Plenty of Garage Queens out there during this depressed economy and with the realistic Double Dip recession being touted by the talking head economists, many more will be on the block, no need to pay extra to a dealership middleman. $5,000 will buy a lot of bike these days if You look around.........WVleo

 

I have looked on craigslist but haven't found anything worth checking into. This dealer is offering a 2008 883 with frwd controls, 207 miles, HD factory warranty still on bike...for $5300. I'm thinking it's not too shabby.......I dunno....going to give it a little more thought.
