Default Install

Ok here are some picts of my installation of a single feed for the air shocks.

I went to AutoZone and got a air shock install kit. $8

I tossed the rubber boots and the mushroomed head ends went on my brass fittings.

I had some brass 1/8 hose fittings from the local hardware store. $2

Last I found a hole on the left side of the frame above the battery. It's twin on the right has a bolt for the oil tank. I drilled it out one size bigger 5/32 and stuck the T fitting thru it. I had to move the battery out of my way.

Of course I soap tested it all before putting in the T!

But it neat and tidy!

Here are some before and after shots.
First is the 13 FL shocks then the 12 RK shocks.
Height to fender strut went from 27" to just under 26". Now my 1up will have an easier time getting on.

How does the 12" ride compared to the 13" ??

I can t decide to do 13 or 12 on a 07 custom.

Thanks
