I was the same way when I arranged to buy my bike from a seller on Craigslist. I couldn't wait to drive the 4 hours to pick it up! As far as the mods... it amazes me how much I think about what I am going to do to it! I had a Honda Shadow before this bike and don't remember thinking about it this much! I guess that's what happens with a Harley... much more of the "make it my own" mentality kicks in.
Yep make a list of mods and then get ready to ride. I have never had to wait for a bike so I don't know how that feels. Well be safe and enjoy the new ride.
I have drag bars, straight shots, everything needed for a speedo relocation and a fuel pak sitting on my bedroom floor. Expecting to have the parts for a DIY tank lift and coil relocation this weekend (hard to find in Korea) and theres a stage 1 big sucker in the mail as we speak. Ive had ALOT of time. I already arranged a day off from work for this.
I guess I should take WVHogRiders advice at this point. That should settle me down for a few minutes
