Default new mufflers

Just installed v/h straightshots on my 48. I really like the way it sounds. Stage one on the way. If anyone is interested, I have the stock (bologna cut) mufflers for sale. I'm asking $100. Does that sound about right to you guys? thanks Have a great day

^Ditto, and I couldn't be happier. I'm gonna go with the SE air cleaner and Fuelpak in a couple weeks when my birthday comes around.

I'd like to get some slip-ons for my 2008 Sportster 1200R Roadster (fuel injected) and checking out these two: Vance & Hines Straightshots HS Slip-ons, or the Screamin' Eagle® Street Performance Slip-On Mufflers - Sportster® Shorty Dual.

My question... do I then need the m/c retuned and have other add-ons installed, or can I just put them on and go??? My concern isn't about the power, I'm just going for the better sound (and don't want to spend much more, either). It's got plenty of power already and dont think will be concerned with a slight drop, but don't want to mess up the m/c running it wrong, too lean or anything. I don't know about stuff like this so need some advice. THANKS!! -Joe
