150 miles on my 4.5 gal and after the tank lift I now get 120 miles.

 

on my '04 883C, I get 40 MPG if i am lucky. Hit reserve about 140 miles.

 

Always refill at 180 miles and usually have about 1/2 - 3/4 left. Of course, this is only open road riding. On surface streets, 140 is about right.

 

I have a XL1200L w/ the 4.5 gal tank, my fuel light comes on around 100 - 110 miles on the tank and it only takes 2 gal to fill it. New from the factory or even after I put my Python 3's on and a K&N air filter. I avg. 44 mpg.

 

Last wednesday i rode 155 miles doing mostly 75 and it took 3.1 gals to fill up

 

On the interstate I average about 48 mpg @75-80 mph on my 05 1200C. I usually stop every hour or so to stretch and fill up. It takes about 2 gallons to top it off. Back road travel (which I prefer) at around 60-65 mph I gage gas stops by the map and stop in larger towns along the way.

 

I have an "08 1200L. My fuel light comes on at about 100-115 miles and only takes two gallons. MPG was 51 due to a long trip on freeway.
