Default Stainless Steel Mufflers

I was searching for Cycle Shack and found this website:

http://www.stainlessride.com/

Has anyone used this brand of mufflers? What are your impressions?

never heard of them. but for the same affect you can just modify your stock exhaust. the slip on look is the same as having stock pipes with the baffles removed. its what i did to mine and see no reason to change to another set of slip ons that are just as loud. just my opinion tho.

I've never used 'stainless' pipes or mufflers on a Harley, but know of guys with 'dual sport' bikes that gave them a try.

Problem is that unless they are 'double walled' (which most stainless mufflers aren't), they tend to turn a yellow/golden color when exposed to heat for a period of time.

One guy has a stainless muffler on his Suzuki DR650 and after a year or so the muffler color ranges from a golden tone to light brown.

Stainless exhaust manifolds on a car or truck will do the same thing.
