Looks good but mind if I ask you a question? How much does your seat lower when you sit on it. I’m really wanting to install one of those seats but my short *** just reaches flat footed now. I’m afraid if I get one of those seats, I won’t be able to touch the ground.

Its good to see some familiar 48's from over yonder.......Here's the wifes 48 that she won october of "10". Mods so far: SE slip-ons, nightster windshield, nightster 3.3 gal. custom painted tank, Iron seat, progressive 412's, diamond ice collection, edge-cut peg set, licks solo, top mount long stem mirrors, and for christmas she has the mini apes and a rear fender edge light comin!!

You make the seat bracket bolting to tank as per that other thread? Where did you get the actual seat?

I gotta say, as much as i love my King, I am thinking that for 10 grand I am gonna have to make this my 2nd bike to putt around town. I had a sporty back in 95 and always loved it for what it was. This bike is tops. My respects to Harley Davidson Motor Company for an outstanding old school looking sportster bike.
