Not to be a hater, but anyone willing to pay $15 grand for your bike needs to get their head examined. And then send them my way so I can sell them some stuff.

Furthermore, I'm almost certain that doing a bunch of **** to your bike makes it less valuable - and especially when they're all just the standard mods that most of us do anyway. People pay a premium for stock - at least I do.

But, good luck! And maybe try a different thread.

I would assume there is a little wiggle room in the price for a serious buyer. If that is exactly the scooter someone wants, I don't think it could duplicated it for the asking price.

That could easily be duplicated for $15k. It doesn't cost $5000 to bolt on a bunch of add-ons, paint a tank black, and cut a few things.

Exactly, not to be a ***** because I know my bike isn't exactly the cat's *** but $15k is so absurd that it's borderline laughable.

On a side note, EPMD your bars are BAD ***. I've saved the pic of your setup and book marked your blog and I may eventually go to a sleek, clean setup like that. I love the simplicity and cleanliness. Very well done.

If you start with a new scooter, I don't think so. Do the math. Gotta figure your time as worth something.

little sidebar - when I bought my Forty Eight, I seriously considered a Forty Eight that the dealer had tricked out (gold metalflake tank, V&H wrapped exhaust, mini apes, air cleaner, WWW's, spring seat, etc.) for $14,500+. What killed the deal was that the dealer would not let me have the "take off" parts. Something to ponder.

Yea but consider the fact that that was a NEW, untitled bike with no miles. This is a used bike and looking at it, it doesn't have that much as far as aftermarket parts. Pipes, intake, mini apes, seat and shocks are about all. Everything else is pretty much free. Remove this, unbolt that, grind here. It's a cool bike and all but not $15k cool. Let's be reasonable.
