Love the S&S A/c, is it a stock kit from S&S? I looked on their website, and didn't see one for the 2011. Did you use another one and modify it? Any help would be appreciated. I'd love to use that teardrop a/c on mine.

The part number for the air cleaner kit you need is 17-0448

Thanks, Spence. Can I ask where you got the seat rail? Haven't seen one like that before. Looks awesome.

For those that changed the seat out to the springer seat. Did you change it because you like the looks or does the stock seat suck?

My 48 will be here in the next couple of weeks and I’ve already got pipes, air cleaner and drag bars sitting here. I assure you the seat can’t be any harder than my custom, I’d just like something more comfortable.

Thanks,

Mark

I couldn't see it being comfortable at all. My stock seat on my 1200C was a rock, so why would the stock 48 seat be any better?

I dunno, that’s why I was asking... never had a sportster before.

The difference in the seats is night and day...the spring seat gives you a much better seating position and some added comfort. The stock seat is like sitting in a very small Tupperware bowel. The spring seat is wider and curved just right to keep yer *** on the bike. Trust me for me it was well worth the money.

Thanks Aaron, any suggestions on the seat choices?

Thanks,

Mark
