Been lurking for a month or two now, awesome bikes in this thread!!! Heres mine bout a month old. '11 Sedona 48. Only mods so far are the P pad and peg setup for the OL, and HD silencer pegs and shift peg. No new pics though. Also just got HD drag bars, silencer grips, derby and timer covers. Just not on yet.

Well, here is the final iteration of my 48 that sadly (sort of) is no longer mine.
I was offered an insane trade deal at the H-D dealer where I bought it for a new '11 Road King. And 2.5% financing at my credit union.
While I LOVED the 48 - my third Sporty since my first one in 1982 - understand that I am an old, retired big guy. I couldn't find a seat that looked "right" on the 48 AND was reasonably comfortable on longer rides. I tried a Rich Phillip spring solo with two different spring setups, and a Mean City modified stock seat with memory foam. With all of them I felt like I was coming off the back of the bike under hard acceleration. The best one was the Mean City modded stocker.
I had a new Road King in 2008 that I only kept a year due to an unfortunate circumstance involving a family member that I won't elaborate on. Hopefully I'll hang onto the new one longer than that. I don't care for the extra weight and width of the RK but they really are great cruisers and the trade deal was killer. I don't like windshields on bikes and mine came off as soon as I got it home and it now has a Danny Gray solo seat. Pipes and 12" rear Progressives are next.
Anyway, enough of that. Here is the 48 the day before I traded it. I will miss it. The tank isn't Sedona Orange, but a very similar '05 Corvette Daytona Sunset Orange pearl.
