I borrowed another member's idea and swapped the springs for rubber stoppers. To my suprise the difference in ride quality is quite noticable.
I did this for 2 reasons. 1 I wanted to lower the seat to keep my *** from sliding around on it. 2) I want to be able to flip the seat up to access the stock seat mounting bolt to be able to quickly put on a passenger pad. I stole the stock passenger pad off my brother's Wide Glide. Flip it backwards and it mounts right up.

finally able to post a picture. I know many of the guys here bash on changing the 48 tank, but thats not why i bought the bike so i made it more my style. Member Germdog helped me out alot with little snags in my installations, thanks brother. just happy to show my bike because i have hawked over so many others on here.

I find it's noticably better. The rubber cuts down on vibration and I find you don't feel every little bump in the road anymore.
