Technically I don't think its called a suicide set-up, to my knowledge that includes a foot clutch. But I don't really know. There's some thread on here where some guys were arguing about it. I don't care what its called I just like riding it!! Thanks guys

So a question for all you 48 owners. I'm going to be taking delivery on a 2015 in a week or so. It will be my first late model, EFI bike. Can I ditch the speedometer, bar switches and front signals (by obviously unplugging them from the harness) without any issues or will the bike pitch a fit if it can't find those plugged in?

Did you get keyless with it? I'd expect it to 'need' the speedo and bar switches as they all link into the keyless and security systems.

But I'm not an expert - so who knows.

That's not gonna go well. Signals are hooked up your security system through the tssm. That alone is a **** around.

The keyless and security system are both optional upgrades, correct? I'm not sure if it has it or not, but what it sounds like if it does, I'm out of luck and if it doesn't (have both) I should be OK.

Just picked up a 15, loving the look of the 48's, already took reflectors off forks, and fixed plate.

I didn't get the keyless but I have ditched everything you asked about no issues.
