Here is my 2015 48..... Just getting started with my mods.
Biltwell Tracker Bars
HD Derby, Timing, AC covers
Stage 1 kit
Vance&Hines Short Shots
DEI Titanium Wrap (black hi-temp paint to darken)
DK Customs Tank Lift (1.5")
DK Ignition/Coil Relocation Mod
HD Rear LED Brake Light
Front Fender Removed
Have the DK Customs Turn Signals but not installed yet.
Gonna have Birdman leather cover a stock style seat and hope to chop my rear fender some in the next couple of weeks.

While at it I saw I had to cover the recessed area at the back, decided to mold a 3rd brake light in it...

Started with some rough sketches... My design had to be, removable, no drilling in the frame, stable, not adding more height to the seat...
The basic frame supporting the original seat.
The receiving end, bolt on, no welding or drilling.
Used a heavy duty door hinge with a removable pin.
The final form, 3 parts, unpainted.
Receiving front hinge.
The 2" spring bought from eBay...

When I took my stock seat off I swore it would never see the bike again.... I might have to eat my words. That is one heck of a creative mod to make the stock seat work AND improve rideability!!! Nicely done!!
No problem, here goes...

Bernieled, very creative on the seat frame. How did you do the third brake light?
You should start a new thread on your process. It'll be a lot more informative for other sportster owners, otherwise it's bury or lost in this "48 show thread".
