Do these pipes have removable baffles? Looking for something shorter and LOUDER than the stock ones....How do they sound?

I got them on mine and my buddy and I removed the baffles last night to see how it sounded. All I gotta say it's way loud and mean, just the way I like it

Here's mine. Just the standard mods so far. Stage 1 A/C, Power Commander V, and V&H Big Radius pipes. Also, have the Rally Runner 2-up seat and detachable Sissy Bar for when my wife wants to ride.

That's good to know! How was it removing the baffles....difficult, easy? I'd for sure remove them to get them louder! Also, would u guys recommend, or is it needed to re-adjust air/fuel tuning with these type of pipes? I called the HD dealer and they said I had to spend like 4-600 more on the commander piece to adjust everything. But I wasn't sure what your guys' experience was if it was absolutely NEEDED? I'd have to re-consider the pipes if I gotta spend that much more cuz I'm on a budget after JUST buyin the bike!

Thats more than you need. I was quoted $140 for the Stage 1 remap. A lot of the stealers try to get you to get the tuner kit which adds hundreds to the cost and/or try to get you to put the bike on the dyno. If you change the exhaust and intake you really just need the Stage 1 download.

Removing the baffles is simple. All you gotta do is remove the hex bolt and i just used a broom stick to insert into the pipe and just used some leverage to pull it out enough to pull it out with my hand. I haven't gotten a tune at all with the pipes but I probably will once I get a A/C some time down the road. I'll try to get a video up later on for ya of how they sound without the baffles.

That'd be awesome! Thanks. I've had some experience with builing and bikes in general so I might try to install the pipes myself. Anything I should look out for since you've already done the same exact thing w/ the same exact pipes. Looks like a few alan bolts and the bracket that is mounted kinda beneth the bike and the bolt behind the rear half of the engine/trans "cover"...which I plan on taking off and leaving off anyway.
