Default 61bbltop update from page 132

Updated the bike from pic on pg 132. Went with the classic Avon rubber, Samson duell exhaust, and Hollywood bars. The Avons are about 2" taller...had to space the front fender and take out the lowering blocks on the rear shocks. P.S. the Samsons are the best sounding pipes I've ever heard on a sporty...very Norton'esque.

Tires are same size so the rear looks a little skinny but the bike seems to handle better!

Thanks Buer, yep it's around £60 for the bars here, thanks for the part number mate

61bbltop, cool mods mate, love the front mudguard plate, reminds me of my old Honda 400/4, over here we used to have those in the sixtys/early seventies with your reg number on......Shame HD didn't spec a larger rear tyre on the 48........

Bike is looking good man! Would love to see it with a solo seat though...

HD Hollywood Bars: I was originally going to use these but went with Flanders flat track instead. Pictures do NOT do justice to how good the HD bars look and obviously how comfortable they are. By the time I saw a set installed on a 48 at the dealer it was too late for me, but if anyone is thinking of the Hollywood bars you have no worries!

Yup, the Hollywood bars are nice...very wide and the cross bar doesn't get in the way of my gauges. BEWARE: these are internally wired bars...you'll have to pull the pins out of the plugs to fish the wires through...not a task to be taken lightly or by a "color-challenged" persone like myself.

I utilize the wife to tell me which color goes where!

I'll get better pics today or tomorrow. And yes, others have suggested I put a solo back on......I'm thinking.....
