I gotta say these bikes look great! I had a 95 1200 which was fun for a while until my hands went numb (vib's from engine at hwy speed). Since the newer ones have rubber mounted engines I think that would alleviate that.
Question-I hear people saying the sports are more for hopping around, short runs etc. Since HD made the change to rubber mount why wouldn't the sportsters be considered as comfortable as let's say a wide gilde for long hauls? (sorry it's been a while since I've ridden currently looking for a bike).

Yes, that's what sold me: seeing it on the floor with the mini-apes on already. Of course, what's "right" is different for everyone, so having a big fat catalog to choose from is exactly the right strategy for them to take... and one of the reasons why I gravitate toward Harleys in the first place.
