They havent put a skinny tire on a 48 since about 64

@ sothai: buckshot exhaust shields are about $150. I need some ideas for handlebars. I like the window bars and the Z bars. I just need them high enough for my back and low enough so I can still use the stock length of the cables. Any thoughts?

Still have to Vinyl the rear fender... but almost done. Just added the 8" Z bars internally wired, redid the tank vinyl, Lifted the tank with wire tuck, changed out grips... I think thats it.

Have a look at the Flanders Flattracks. Someone has them on his 48 much earlier in this thread. Johns email is: jflanders@flandersco.com and the part number is: 650-28076

I think they look fab and you can alter the height by turning them in the clamp, obviously. You also get more steering leverage, as they are wider than the stock bars. Thoughts?
