Hey .357 Magnum. Yes it is the factory S-Bar and I will send more pictures. This saturday I will have the chopped fender rack on it and the wrinkle black top rocker covers on. The Premium horn kit came in yesterday so it's going on to. Last night I got the foot pegs on and I will post some pictures sunday when it is done. I put the brawler seat on for long trips but the spring solo for me is good for the short trips.

oh i had planned on this too! but here's my advice, make sure to go to a dealership and request to see the 2011 paint swatch book where they have the green swatch and the green pinstripe that the new nightster has. i love the green and i love the darker green pinstripe, but together it was not to my liking.....

X2!
The 48 that really inspired me was on the floor at Republic HD in Stafford, TX. It already had mini apes, short shots, and wide white walls on it. I've been looking at HD's for some time trying to decided which one I wanted. This one made up my mind.

Seeing a Street Bob, with a different seat, exhaust and a sissy bar sold me on my first HD (09 FXDB).
Cost me more than I want to think of so far (still more to do) to make it how I wanted it..
I guess that is simply the HD way.
Funny how you almost never see a 100% stock HD..

Yes, that's what sold me: seeing it on the floor with the mini-apes on already. Of course, what's "right" is different for everyone, so having a big fat catalog to choose from is exactly the right strategy for them to take... and one of the reasons why I gravitate toward Harleys in the first place.

Not to mention all the non HD stuff they likely sell from 3rd party distributors like Drag Specialties, etc..
