Is your seat riding on rubber mounts or springs? If springs, what are they? I can't tell in this photo.

 

Guy that did mine told me to tell you just walk into any auto upholstery shop and ask them can they put a "gel pad" in your seat for more cushion. He said it isn't a special brand or anything... stock look, and a$$ will be much happier

 

Hey all, new to the tread so I can't post pictures yet, but I just got my 10" licks Zs and I noticed a few other people have them.

Does anyone know if they will fit as is or if I need risers? Also any recommendations on the brake line, I've heard a little about the BYO brake line kits but I wanted to see if anyone has experience with them.

Hey Pointdogg, post a picture of you riding that thing with those sweet bars! Or even better, a video to hear those RC pipes..

Also, is that a wire tuck only, or tank lift as well?

Been lingering around on here for some time and finally registered..... Picked up a 48 a couple months ago and have been slowly modding. List of whats on so far..... springer seat, Roland Sands Turbine intake, D and D bobcat pipes, Dark custom derby and timing cover.... Been loving this bike. Still have many more ideas for this new toy....

 

I just added the 10" Z's with a 1" riser and I also did a 1.5" tank lift with a coil and ignition relocation. Also wanted the thank Cpracing and Pointdogg for helping with advice.

Why can't I see the linked pictures? I love all the pics I can see. The 48 has to be my favorite HD so far....

 

It has to do with being a new member maybe. That's how it is with me.

 

Just log out and you can see them, the same thing happened to me since I am still fairly new.
