Default Anything between stock and sundowner?

I have an 06 1200L. I believe this comes with a badlander right? Is there anything more comfy than stock but not as ugly as the sundowner? I need some help!

If your looking for style...sundowner may not be your ticket. I don't mind the looks of the sundowner, especially after my behind has been on it for more than an hour or two. Shop around, there are many options. I just found the stock seat extremely uncomfortable. But what do I know, I bought that ugly *** Sundowner Good luck in your search for a scooter seat you like .

I don't think the Sundowner's ugly. It's definitely not a seat to put on your bike if your looking for slim lines but that's just my opinion. If you want something in between, you'll probably need to look at a different line like La Pera or Mustang.

I was thinking of the LePera Maverick which is a nice looking and well made seat but the price was nuts so I went for the 'ugly' Sundowner. It is a very comfortable seat that is reasonably priced and after a short while you get used to the look of it (especially with the sissy bar & pad).

Check out the Saddlemen Pro Tour or Renegade I Solo on the Drag Specialties website. I have the solo and it's much better than the stock seat, but not a huge touring seat like the Sundowner. I'm sure it wouldn't be as comfy as the Sundowner, but it's way better looking IMO.

I bought the Sundowner also and love it. True it's not the sexiest thing out there, but I prefer to be able to walk after riding for eight hours 2UP. LOL. No good for a romantic weekend trip with the 'lil woman if yer all hunched over when you get there. [8D]

THE MUSTANG SEAT.
Oh, no doubt about it, Mustang makes excellent quality and comfortable seats...I had one on my V-Star. Just that this time I wanted a more comfortable 2-up seat than stock without spending as much as I did for the Mustang and for me the H-D Sundowner did the trick.

The stock saddle is not a Badlander...it is a "Badlander Style" stock seat. (I double checked this as I was going to be selling my saddles on eBay and I was seeing stock seats marketed as Badlanders. The spec sheet says "Badlander Style" as well. Dealer says there is a difference and they felt different.) But, I had a Badlander and it isn't anything to write home about either. Just sold it and shipped it yesterday. I got the Mustang Vintage. That thing is heaven and it is not even broken in yet. I got the 12" rather than the 15" so it would stick out so far. It really doesn't look bad at all. I saw some pics on the Mustang site where people only had the solo seat on their Sporty and then had a fender bra on...it was really sharp.
