I have the Mustang Solo--like it a lot, no fried thighs due to the design, it moved me back an inch, and I don't slide around at all on the seat when riding. Very nice fit, looks great, and rides nice.
EDIT: really what has made the biggest difference for me has been adding Progressive front springs and rear 412 shocks. I could ride with a stock seat and still feel good now, but I won't b/c I have this Mustang seat, you'll like it. If I was riding 2-up I'd get a Mustang Day Tripper.

I have the reach seat and also bought a badlander from a forum member here,
i love the way the badlander looks on the bike but the reach seat is SO MUCH more comfortable.

i was going to sell the reach but after doing a distance ride with the
badlander decided to just keep both since it takes all of 3 minutes to swap
them out.
any rides over 150 round trip miles and i swap to the reach seat for the comfort
anything less and i keep the badlander for the great looks.

Thanks for the info guys. I kinda dig the reach seat, I only have a 30in inseam so I would just adjust my highway pegs.
09WDHGS, those shocks...do they retain the stock seat height?

The stock rear shocks on my Iron were 11", so I went with 12" Progressive 412s to give more ground clearance. I also added the Prog. front spring kit (standard size) as well for a more balanced ride and to stop the front brake diving. They also make shocks which can lower your ride.

had a day tripper and found out that its more like an hour or two tripper!
moved on to a wide mustang and now can ride as long as there is fuel.

day tripper is fine for very short rides, but if you want to ride two up for very long, i suggest that you might need another solution.

I have the HD solo reach seat and love it! It's nice looking, the price is not bad at all like $150.00 and it's comfortable as hell. It does make you sit a bit lower and moves you forward a tad. I was gonig to get a stock nightster seat for my bike till I sat on one and was like NO WAY the reach solo looks kinda like the nighters seat, but comes all the way to the tank-there is no gap like with the N seat and it's not hard as a rock like the N seat.

I finally broke down and bought a Day Tripper Solo for my 08 Nightster. When I opened the box I was shocked how much more substantial the padding and seat pan seemed to be compared the stock seat. The fit and finish were perfect, it went right on without bending or modifying anything. I have put about 200 miles on the new seat and I’m loving it. I can’t believe the difference just changing the seat has made. Bumps that rattled my teeth on the stock seat are not bad at all with the Day Tripper. And I think it looks pretty good on the bike to boot. It did raise me up maybe 1.5in and back probably about the same. I am still flat foot when stopped but I fell like I need to try leaning my bar back some because I seem to be stretched out just a bit to much now.

I'm going to have to try and check one of those day trippers out, it seems everyone who has one says its pretty groovy.
