Default black solo spring seat

Just thought I would post a pic of my bike with the solo spring seat. I see members (like me) asking about them. I haven't had a chance to ride it more than just down the block, but it feels comfortable. I'll post again after a long ride on Friday.

Those Harley spring seats look like they wouldn't be too hard on the rear end. They are pretty wide and and curved nicely. I'll be interested in hearing your story after the longer ride.

Looks good man-hope it's not a but buster on longer rides, but then the stock seat in not that great so you should be just fine.

Nice looking ride--let us know how it handles on the highway at high speeds.

lilbruce its funny i just put the same set up on my fat boy. HD seat, Licks mirrors and HD grips.
I just did a 350 mile trip... my *** is still recovering. I did purchase a gell slip over pad which helps a lot. The other things you need to be mind full of is on take off you will slid of the rear of the seat & on big *** bumps you could get launched from the seat. i hit a major bump and the springs on this seat really can bounce you off your bike . Other than that the seat is great. I do think it could be a couple of inches wider and a bit more cure towards the rear.

I never even knew the comfort of rear shocks...I went straight to the solo with the struts. I figured, Why sleep on a soft mattress when you will just end up just sleeping on a cardboard box for the rest of your life? Why tease myself? Ride looks cool and you'll get used to it...now, let's get rid of those rear shocks.

That seat has a super steep angle on your bike. I think you would benefit from longer springs to raise the back up a bit. They are cheap on eBay. It would get rid of your sliding off the back problem.
