Default 1200L Rigid Leather Locking Saddlebags

Hi All,

I have a 2007, 1200L with the Rigid Leather Locking Saddle Bags (P/N: 53050-04C) installed. What I'm wondering is how to remove the bolts from the back fender so I can remove this saddle bags to adjust my rear shock tension. The bags are in the way of the wrench and the rear tire is in the way of the bolt heads. The two nuts that holds the bags on move, therefore I can't get a wrench on the bolt heads to hold them.

Anyone, have an idea how to adjust my shocks or remove these bolts so I can remove the bags to do so?

It would help me visualize things better with a couple of good photo's showing the problem. I'm sure there are those who don't need this but...

You're gonna have to raise the bike so the rear tire is off the ground. That will give you enough clearance to get a wrench under the fender.

you can also remove the seat, move your ecm to the side an pop out the plastic retainer to get to the nuts on the back of saddlebag mount bolts.
