I just used a hair dryer. Wrapped electrical tape around a flat blade screwdriver. Heat the reflector, use the screwdriver to start praying it away from the fork. The when there is enough play, use you finger to pry it all the way off. Any residue should just rub off. At least that's how it worked with mine.

Make sure you wrap the screwdriver!!!

What he said -> but I had a little more horsepower using the Heat Gun.. (on a low setting)..heehee. With the heat gun, I used my hands to pry it off (with a heat resistant glove).

I have heard some use a fishing line to remove..

Any ways, my point was to have some GOO GONE handy to remove excess glue from the double sided tape. cheers.

Fishing string, slide it behind the reflector then work it back and forth while pulling down.

A spray of carb cleaner or break cleaner will loosen the sticky. I gave mine a squirt and then rotated them 90' and off they came with little to clean up but a plastic ice scraper took any left overs off.

Hell is FL and I have to find some use for a ice scraper...

i used wd-40
let it soak a bit, then take some dental floss. double or triple it up and start sawing. a bit more wd-40 as you get through it and the badge will loosen. pull it off and then use more wd-40 to get the rest off.

if you want way too much info, check out my tank badge removal thread in another forum:
