Thumbs up Opinion on rear shocks

I have got alot of good info.

I just cant decide to put the 13" or 12" or the air lowering HD shocks on my bike.

2007 883 custom, I do alot of 2 up, I weigh 235, and OL weighs @ 128.

I am dfinately putting on the air shocks though, just dont know which to go with.

Also which progressive springs to put in the front.

Thanks

I have 07 Ultra air shocks on mine. They were take offs with less than 700 miles on the. Got them on Ebay for $50 delivered. I couldn't be happier.

PS: I run them with 0 psi's of air in them.

I have 09 wide glide shocks I put on for $95.00 on ebay and 3 inch lowering brackets. I ride 2 up and the ride is great.

Yes this fellow on the XL forum tried the progressive 412's first on his 1200 custom and he said they were much better than the stock. However he had heard the RK's were better so he tried a set and he said the difference was as great over the progressives as they were over the stock. I just got finished installing a set of RK's, 12 inch eye to eye on my 1200 custom and wow what a difference. Rides like a caddy and no more spine jarring jolt's. And with the 12 inch it did not change much the set-up of the bike.

well I'm sold. I'll have to start watching Ebay closely. I actually like the look of them over the progressives as well. Anything I should know before install? Longer bolts needed or anything? Is it just a simple swap? I have a lift.
