RE: lowered back + not lowered front = backpain??
it def has something to do with my rideing position, I can tell from where my back hurts. No harley dealer will raise the tubes so Im thinking of just haveing them put the new risers on they have pull back ones which will bring the bars even closer

Ralph,
I didn't lower the front end. Although you can side the tube up, you better be careful, if the alignment is not right it equates to vibration and steering issues. In fact, I didn't like the pull back risers on the Roadster, so I just put on 4 inch straight up risers. I like the look better. Here's a pic:

I think so. It's a total of six bolts on the roadster. I had a helper but you can do it yourself. We removed the four holding down the handlebars and let them dangle over the front end. Always put a towel on you fender and tank, you don't want any dings. Then removed the two bolts underneath holding the risers. Mine are 4 inch straight risers. The brake line was a little tight but not too bad. I didn't need to change any cables or lines. Reverse the process and tighten every thing down.
