The Burly Narrow Glide Apes are the best looking Apes for a Sportster in my opinion. They are also a very nicely crafted piece. I have the 14" and think they are super comfortable and look great.

link please? I was looking at Lick's super narrow glide 12" apes. Does narrow glide mean your hands are closer together? That's what I'm looking for, I think it might ease the hand fatigue a bit.

I find Burly's to have poor chrome, just my opinion as I have had a few customers bring them back looking like crap. I agree a narrow ape looks far better on a sporty. When you decide what you want give me a shout, I can get you all you need at a discount.

No it doesn't mean that your hands are closer together. They actually just have a narrower center length where they bolt up to the risers. The width at the hands is around 32". If you want apes that put your hands closer together you might check out the a set of Z-bars. I think Lick's cycles has them.

There's an article in July issue of Hotbike magazine that goes through the complete installation process for Burly 14" apes with cable kit on a sportster using internal wiring. Very nice writeup with pics.

I should have gotten a set of these to begin with but the HD couldnt get them and put them on so I had to go with with they had, you know how that is...

Drew what would you think would be the better narrow apes in a 16"? I am going to be needing them sometime soon. I also want to be able to internal wire them with all the wires that I have now
