Angry running bad after rockerbox gasket replacement

hi there my 07 883L was running great , but developed he infamous rockerbox leak . dealer fixed under extended service plan , but now bike is running bad , lots of top end clatter , low power . bad mileage.
i just posted on a thread here about i got $5.00 gas 1.5 gal @ 100 mi even on the trip meter so i was getting really good mileage now ive filled it up every day , i usully go for days before i need gas . should i go back too the dealer ? i really cant afford the rates if it aint covered under warranty , but bike is not well ???

I would at least call them and see what they say. I had the rocker box gaskets done on my bike late last year and it's fine. I mean I don't even know what they could have done wrong on that job to make your bike run bad?

The only thing they could of done was not tighten all or any of the internal rocker bolts.

Check your speedo for dtc codes, they probably broke the cylinder head temp sensor. Also look at the cyl head temp sensor to see if maybe the connector is not seated. It's located in the top of the rear head right in the center.

hello ran the diag , no codes , sensor seem ok didnt seem too be damaged or loose ?

I would say if it ran great before you took it in and the dealer fixed it and as soon as you get it back from service dept., it runs bad... I would have called them immediately, even before I asked for advice on a forum. Besides, whatever is wrong with it now is probably covered under your ESP anyway.

Yeah you better get it back to them right away and have them check it out.
