Riding 2-up on the Sportster has been a breeze. The only complaint has come from the girlfriend. She says the stock seat hurts her a$$ after a long trip. We plan to purchase a new seat in the future.

 

Sundowner, detach sissybar and touring backrest for 2-up. Only complaint comes from feet numbing on passenger pegs after extended rides. But I think that is a function of the stock pegs. Of course you are close to each other but if we weren't, I'd wonder if she fell off. [sm=insomnia.gif]

For solo I have a Mustang wide vintage solo.

Stock seat is only good for the showroom. Once you get it home, ditch the stock saddle. Make it into a chair in your house or something but don't ride with it for more than 3 miles.

 

1200C And we are 400 combined! (not sayin who is what lol)

Lotsa power, can wheely through 3rd. and 0 to 60 in 3 seconds with SEII & Baffles in which they are usually not, this with her on board.

We do bottom out all the time with potholes, but my susp. is set for on the lightest seting, will buy the wrench to adjust pre-load.

Quick detach short backrest hurts her lower back, have had a hell of a time finding a tall one. If we could it would be great for two up.

Usually make it 100 miles or so before we gotta take a stretch, smoke break and than get back at it.

I like the Dyna lowrider my buddy has, but Id rather have our sportster. Obviously or I would have bought someting different lol.
