Modded Roadster 1200R MPG, too low?
Hey there dudes and dudettes!
I think these forums will be my new home since I have recently joined the HD family. I bought a Sportster Roadster 1200R with Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather AC and slip on mufflers (just the mods relating to my question! There's tons of other mods!). I have the 4.5 Gallon tank, and my light seems to come on once I get to around 180-190kms (around 115 miles). Isn't that too low?
I am not riding hard, I shift gears between 3-3.5krpm, and it doesn't seem to change that much while riding on highways (well in Dubai most city roads can be highways haha).
The bike is a 2008 model, ran for barely 5.6k km, was serviced at 1.6k and 5k, all mods were done at the dealership. What could be the problem? The bike is in brand-new condition! I am reading 35-45MPG rates here which is making me question my bike's performance..
Thanks guys,
Sami
