Default looking to buy a 07 nightster need info

Hey guys i found a few 07 nightsers in the area off of craiqslist. theres one that caught my eye for 7900 with 4000, the miles see to high for that price but the bike has some work - pipes, tune, new 5000 mile tuneup, im looking to spend no more then 7000? what do you think?

i'm also in the market for a nightster, although i'm looking for an 08 or 09.
7900 seems too high imo for an 07, i have seen plenty of 08s and 09s for that price (including ones with some work, and they we're around the 3000 mile mark).
even saw an 08 with under 400 miles for 7800.
I am hoping to being able to get one that is mostly stock (other than mini apes and forward controls) so that way i can choose exactly what other work i want done on it.

I am trying to sell my Nightster, if you are interested.
I have a 2009 Nightster, Vivid Black, completely stock.
Bought in Aug of 2009, warranty till Aug of 2011.
Has @450 miles on it.

Perfect condition, just no time to ride.

Looking for $9,000 or Best Offer.

I would keep looking i bought my 07 nightster for $6900 with 1800 miles all stock except drag bars and grips. Plus all the fun is making the bike your own so i tried to find one as stock as possible. But im sure you can find one for cheaper than that with less miles.

I bought my 07 nightster for $7500 with 1700 miles. I went to a dealer which is why I paid a little more, but I wanted the Olive Green and that was the only one I could find around so I spent the little extra to get the color I wanted.

Wow, what a bunch of poser bikes. 2007 with 1800 miles? 2008 with 400 miles? WTF do people buy a bike for if they don't ride it. Wow.

i dont think its so much a poser as more of i have never had a bike, i want a bike and it has to be a harley. what they dont understand is riding a bike isnt as easy as it seems and can be quite dangerous.

they take a rider course on a tiny little bike graduate then think its OK to move right up to an 883 or 1200, they get a few miles under their belts get a hell of a scare and then turn around and sell at a big loss which is a real riders gain as far as i'm concerned.

YMMV
