Some one posted the other day they where tired of pictures of almost all Nightsters, I have to agree (I have nothing against Nightsters personally) I think the older bikes have there own sexy looks and great paint jobs.
Post a picture and a small description of your NON Nightster/48 for our viewing pleasure.
The 2 bikes I have posted are my trusty old 2000, which I bought brand new in 2000 and my wife's 2003 883C which we bought in 2004 from an old guy that won it on a $5 raffle.
I would love to have an 03 or older sportster! They were so much simpler! I'm not a fan of the fuel injection and wish I would have known the difference back when I bought my bike. Beautiful bikes everyone!

F.I. is great!! The problems happen when you start to tinker with it. It takes more than a just a few hand tools to make it work right.
I am a firm believer that if you want to have a trouble free, reliable ride (bike or cage) Don't F>@K with it!!! The mfgs spent millions to make them work as well as they do.
That said.... F.I. can be set up properly, You just need the tools and knowledge to do it right. It's just not as simple as it used to be.
Note: You still need exhaust gas data to set up a carbed bike properly otherwise it's trial and error or just luck. Non injected set ups are way more forgiving.

It's not a "Low" model, has 3.7" rear suspension travel and more ground clearance. I added a Fork brace, 3/4" preload spacers and Screamin Eagle "Heavey" fork oil,,20 wt. The Thing Tracks great.
This Pic is pre fork brace.
