Default Little Help - Clutch cover screws

I know this is dumb - I was trying to take the clutch cover off a 2009 xl1200c. Thought my T-27 fit in the bolts pretty good, but I managed to strip the last one.

Anyone have good advice on how to get that last bolt out?

Drill the head off the last screw and then pull off the derby cover. There should be enough of the screw left sticking out that you can grab it with a pair of Vise-Grips.

Thanks cHarley. I managed to get the cover off after using my easy out kit. Now I just need to pick up a new screw - maybe I'll change to chrome. I found some older posts from people recommending allen head screws.

Sounds like a good time to upgrade to polished stainless.

Go with the stainless and not the chrome. Chrome will rust. depss.com is where I got mine. Polished stainless steel looks nice.

He did-that is what size the screws are. I have even got mine out with a #25, but don't recomend it.
