1200 XL Handlebars
I just got a 2009 1200XL Low and it came with the stock schwinn curved bars. Me being 6'3" puts the bars right up on me. I was wounding if anyone knows of some good looking bars that work? I have been looking at some 6" rise Z bars or a 2" rise drag bar. Any help out there?
Thanks Adam

I put bars on my sportster from the A model V Rod . And did not have to change any wires or cables just had to rework the break line a little. It gave me a 2'' rize and a 2'' pullback and were 2'' wider so I can now say I can see out of my mirrors . And was much more comfortable on long rides.

I have been going through this since I got my bike.
I am most interested in a comfortable sporty ride, not looks.
After I got the sundown seat, it was worse as I kept sliding onto the gas tank.
First I got a set of low bars, almost drag bars, same bars as the custom has (55845-04) and they are great, but a bit too low and forward, plus the mirrors don't show anything but elbows.
Very nice at 60+ mph where the wind balances you, no sliding forward in the seat, a very sporty feel to the bike.
I then tried XL pullback bars, (56021-04b) way wide, plus the knurdled parts for the clamps are too wide and show. These seem just way to wide.
Today I found 55988-04, not sure what they are, but they are in between the stock bars and the low forward ones I have on now, should be just the ticket, although I do like the low bars a lot, just a bit too much force on the wrists at low speeds. They might be real nice with some small pullback risers, 1 inch up, one inch back might be perfecto.

I recommend these, more agressive stance with oout the squished in feeling you get fromthe factory low bars and no need to change any cables, they also come dimpled....
