That's looks awesome, I'd love some close up shots too if you can! How did you wrap hem all the way to the ends? What kind of handlebars are those and how tall are they? I've been looking for something like that.

Yes...just cut off the excess with a wire cutter or end nipper.

Here are close ups
I wrapped them all the way to the o2 sensors, folded the ends so it doesn't fray apart over time. Bars are 10" tall from licks cycles.

Thanks. Did you simply put the wrap around the plate on the backside that the pipes are mounted to? I stopped there so the last 5 inches or so are unwrapped, but I guess if I tried it now I'd come up short....

Yup wrapped that part too. I just dug holes into the wrap to get the pipe mounted back up.

dp2826: the bag is a licks solo bag

I've had mine wrapped for going on two years now. The pic at the bottom is when I just had them done. I wrapped all the way from the heads to the tips. I didn't use the ceramic spray (the indy said I didn't need it). Pushed holes in the O2 sensors and by the backing plate as well. Haven't had any issues with fraying or cracking.

ok guys, started up this morning to ride to work for the first time with the wrap. About 8 blocks from my house the wrap started smoking like a son of a bitch. I didn't think i was getting home without a fire. What gives? do I need the coating on the wrap that they told me I didn't need but the box states I do need? Is this normal the first time you run it? I don't think so....

It's normal. Mine smoked for a few days before everything cured.
