Does anyone have a Kuryakyn Hypercharger Air Cleaner? If so how do you like it and do you have any pictures.

It's basically, All Show and No Go. If you're looking for a good high flowing A/C, look elsewhere.

I have one, no pics though. If your motor isn't hopped up to much, it will flow fine. Some folks don't like them, don't know why. I think they look cool myself. Makes the bike look fast just sitting there.

The NRHS Hurricane Flow, Big Sucker, HD Heavy Breather, and even the plastic SE A/C, are better performing units.

While the Hypercharger has the appearance of a "Ram Air" scoop, there is an exhaust hole on the backside, rear of the unit which prevents any "ram air" action. If fact, at highway speeds, air flows in the front and out the rear hole, actually creating a negative air pressure across the carb/throttle body intake which literally sucks air away from the intake. That's the last thing you want if your looking for a performance improvement.

While the Hypercharger may "look OK" on a dyno, a dyno doesn't have the ability to recreate what happens at highway speeds when you have air being forced into the front of the unit and then sucked out the back, resulting in the loss of intake air.

Hyperchargers are not worth the money.
If you want one thats worth the money, Check out Ness Big Sucker I, Force EVO Dominator XL Forcewinder, Sceaming Eagle Heavy Breather or the NHRS Hurricane Flow.

They are proven performers.

Sounds like we need to meet up next time I'm up your way, which is 2-3 times a year. I run the Franklin NC, Cashiers, Brevard, Pisgah (276), BRP route all the time when there.
