I know I'm grasping for straws here, but I'm seriously considering changing my black HD mini-apes to black full-on apes. Is anyone wanting to switch from their apes setup down to minis? I have the bars and all cables, which are the HD Diamond Black series to trade for your bars and cables. Like I said, I'm grasping here, but I remember reading long ago that someone was wanting to move down a little. Thanks.

 

What is your height and weight? I am about 6'2" and 225 or so. I am thinking of moving up to a small ape. From what I have read, it would help with my back/neck pain. I may buy them straightout if you find a replacement. I have never rode one with any kind of ape, so I am a little bit leary.

I'm 5'8", 260. These are really comfortable for me. I'm looking mainly for aesthetics, but I've ridden my buddied bike with apes and they felt fine. When I got my bike, I bought these and had them installed asap because the drag-type bars were uncomfortable to me, and I hadn't seen any Sporties with full-on apes.

 

Thanx for the info. I am going to roll my stock bars up straight, see how that feels. May get a mini-ape later.
