500 miles!
After 1 week (seemed like an eternity of putting around under 50 and then under 60), finhally hit the 500 mi mark. Time to see what the beast can do. I don't have words to discribe what I felt like after a 70 mile ride this evening on a clear 70 degree sunny evening here in the NW (70 miles north of Seattle). Did it all, including the freeway. Got be carefull though, before I knew it I was at 70 and hadn't gone to 5th yet! Stopped for gas and for a Starbucks and had 4 guys ask me how I liked my new bike. Guess I might have looked like a kid at Christsmas or something. I am definitely born again HD.

Me?
Well, I've been riding Harley's since the early 1970's, most of them were either traded or sold, but I've always had a couple different models available to ride at any given time.
I haven't had the Road King all that long, as it was recently purchased to help out a friend that was having some financial problems.
I also have an old '81 Shovelhead, and a '49 Panhead Chopper that we built up in the mid 1970's, but both of these bikes are in "semi retirement storage", so I don't count them as daily drivers.
But I also collect older "Muscle Cars" from the late 60's, early '70's, so I guess I'm just a Pack Rat when it comes to Harley's and high performance cars.
