Default 2008 Nightster...too tall?

HI All,

I am looking to purchase a used harley and have considered a 2008 Nightster. My question is am I too tall at 6' 00' and 202lbs to fit/look comfortable on the bike? The model I am cosidering already has forward controls. Thanks

If it were mids i would say 100% yes. The forward controls makes a huge difference. You also have options in reach controls to add even more room. I thin kover all you should be ok .

I'm 6' but only about 150lbs and am currently riding with mids and it's not real bad. Will be putting forward on in the near future. Just to be sure you will like it I would go sit on a few others just to see the difference. I would think you should be fine. Try one that doesn't sit you so low on the bike, I think the 1200 is the one I tried that felt higher.
There are a few on here over 6' riding the nightster and seem to be happy.

I'm 6'3" 220lbs and i have a stock 08' nightster and am perfectly comfortable. Im used to riding street bikes though so this bike is way more comfortable than a crotch rocket.

I agree that sitting and trying a few is the right move. Thanks for the comments...

I was looking to get a nightster originally but after sitting on a few I decided the 1200C was alot more comfortable so I got that. I am 5' 10".If you like the way the nightster fits go with it. Good luck.

A dealership here has one with stock bars and forwards...and one with mini apes and mid controls... I'm thinking mini apes and extended forwards myself.
